Home ground ribeye burgers plus fries on a paper plate is crazy…. Don’t tell me you didn’t wanna do dishes lol

I’d have a hard time justifying doing them as smash burgers. For a cut that nice, I’d want a meatier burger.

As a meat cutter I’ve had burger made with prime rib. It’s not worth it in my opinion to do it at home. I did it out of the scraps at the shop.

Why does it look all brown once it’s ground up?

Should of doubled fried those fries. Or maybe your oil temp was too low.

I have no problem with making a burger out of whatever cut of meat you want. But putting ketchup on a ribeye should be illegal. What a waste.

Im curious what your point of reference was on how good this was. Have you ground your own chuck and made a similar burger recently to gauge how much better the ribeye one was?
